Latest News - January

Hello lovelies, and are we all pleased that January is finally over?

My birthday’s in January so I always enjoy that, but not much else. We didn’t have any snow just lots of rain. I did get to visit Jane Austen’s House in Chawton, which was inspiring, and my husband took me out for lunch at a lovely restaurant called The Pig, so I had a wonderful day!

Book wise it’s time to think about what I’m writing this year. You’ll be getting book 2 in the Regency historical romance series, How To Ruin A Rake, and I’m currently writing the third, which involves fake identities, forced marriage, and a couple who (eventually) bring out the very best in each other. I’ve also got a cozy historical mystery to write and I’ve started a full length Millcastle book with some new characters to widen that world. If you’d like a change of pace, I have a Catherine Lloyd book coming out this summer called Chelsea Girls, which is historical fiction about Mary Quant, the fashion designer, and the generation of women she influenced in the 1960’s.

Also, I’m delighted to share that we’ve been cooking up some gorgeous special editions for the Millcastle series, which will be available exclusively on my online store. They’re so pretty I want to keep them all! Please don’t forget to check them out. I saw my first snowdrops yesterday, so let’s hope spring is on the way!

Happy reading,

Kate x
